ADVANTAGES OF THE “CRAB PLIERS”:

1. The new “Crab pliers” are without handle. 

The hooking of the sections to the hangers and their consequential release come about only through the use of a convenient and practical pneumatic gun which no longer requires any manual effort on the part of operators. 

2. Multipurpose pliers

The new “Crab plier” Model: SM / SM1 / SM4 

Can be equipped with an adjustable screw but remains detached from the spring action.

With this accessory, You get two functions simultaneously: 

Main function: 

Preliminary hooking of particularly heavy or complex sections to the hangers through the pressure of a sturdy spring 
incorporated at the extremity of the pliers.

Auxiliary function: 

After the hooking of the sections to the hanger, the action of the optional screw increase the mechanical pressure of the pliers’ gripping parts, fastening them to the hangers in a solid, secure and rapid way.

3. Pneumatic gun tool (CodeGM-GUN10-P) 

This pneumatic tool completely eliminates the physical strain of hand, and greatly facilitates the use of female operators , performing much of the male workforce.

4. Manual auxiliary plier tool (Code GE-PIN10-M)

It is also available an economic mechanical manual opener lever-type (only for clamp testing purpose)

 5. Dimensions of “Crab pliers”

The overall dimensions of the “Crab plier” are shorter than the conventional pliers, thereby reducing the risk of collisions during the insertion or removal of the sections from the tanks of depot parkings.

6. Stacking in special “blister” case (Code GM-BIX-160)

The stacking of the pliers can be arranged for each specific model within the appropriate slot and easily withdrawn individually from the bottom of these stacks  by simply fitting the pins of the opening tool in to the clamps paced in the base of these slots .

The handling of these pliers / clamp can in this way be easily arranged the nearest as possible to the loading-unloading stations, avoiding the operator to constantly bend down to select and gather various types of clamps , now randomly massed within boxes .

Mod. SM4 CRAB CLAMP : spring, plus mechanical locking, with resin crocodile teeth  (for special small profiles, like heavy pipes or similar one ) ;	Mod. S4 YCRAB CLAMP : spring locking, with resin crocodile teeth (for special light small  profiles);
Mod. SM1 CRAB CLAMP : spring, plus mechanical locking, plus one sinterized tip (for heavy sheets or similar) ;	Mod. S1 CRAB CLAMP : spring locking, plus one sinterized tip, (for standard single sheet);
Mod. S2 CRAB CLAMP : spring locking, plus two sinterized tips (for standard double sheets) ;	Mod. SS CRAB CLAMP : spring locking, with slim pincers (for small profiles) ;
